The West Wallsend Heritage mural on the Workers Club.

The mural seems to have been very well received by the people of West Wallsend I feel a real sense of civic pride in them.

This photo was taken just after I had painted all the screws after the builders had put it up. My poor little camera couldn't cope with the night scene.I'll have to take some more with my good one.The marks on the top RHS of the mural are just shadows.

Hunter Arts Network Newsletter - Spring Art Bazaar 2013

Hi HAN members and subscribers!

We are really happy to announce the Spring Art Bazaar 2013 is on this weekend in sunny Singleton.  We have had a fantastic response from Singleton Council and they are thrilled to be hosting the Spring Art Bazaar and are planning all sorts of extra activities and promotions for the day.  This year we will have food stalls, and a fantastic array of Artists practicing in ceramics, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture and more.

Spring Art Bazaar will be held at Civic Centre Green, Civic Avenue, Singleton with loads of parking, greenery, and easy access on Sunday 8th September and hours of trading will be 10am until 3pm.

This Sunday will be a huge day for Singleton and Broke with the Broke Village Fair, and Art in the vines and Spring Art Bazaar on the same day and a short drive between them all.  There will be a treasure hunt for hidden Art treasures with clues to find works donated by Hunter Arts Network Artists in and around Spring Art Bazaar.

Come and join us, meet Artists from the Hunter region and enjoy a great day out shopping and browsing in Singleton then take the free shuttle bus to the Broke Village Fair and Art in the Vines.  We have some wonderful food stalls including the slow food Hunter Valley!
Enjoy all three events by taking the free shuttle service
