I'm creating a pastel portrait of a lovely terrier at the moment. I am having fun with colour! He is so cute.
I'm having a ball with
Pastel. The portrait is 30 x 40cms image size which is a great size for
him.I've been given permission to enhance his colour and it's looking
great!
Here is the reference photo.
He
is inside a tent New years day 2005.The photo isn't an ideal reference
photo as it isn't sharp and his eyes and nose are just black blobs but
it is such a happy pose and I have found a sharper photo to help with
the details.
Some paintings seem to paint themselves effortlessly
and his is one of them.I think the portrait is almost finished but I'll
sit on it for a while and have a fresh look.
